Dr. David started her teaching career in UPLB as Lecturer in 2011 but received her regular appointment in the following year.

Her vast experience with stakeholders of the forestry and agriculture sectors has paved the way for her to better understand the role of Extension Education particularly using the relevant theories and perspectives, and analyze possible solutions to concerns for the sake of the public clients. This experience evolves and gets refreshed as she involves herself in various research projects, which she gladly shares with students.

She has worked with agrarian reform beneficiaries and communities, people’s organizations, sub-watershed organizations and local government units in her capacity as a study leader for various program/project objectives but generally on solid waste management, climate change and local governance. Her latest research involvements are on agile communication strategic planning with national government agencies on dam management and assessment of nationally-awarded technologies with patent and utility models. In all her endeavors, she has continually recognized Extension Education as a vehicle towards achieving behavioral change individually thereafter affecting the greater number of people.
