CPAf Program Admission Policy

The Admissions Policy of the Master Science/Doctor of Philosophy in Community Development Program aims to serve as a guide in evaluating the merits of a graduate student applicant and assigning a registration/temporary adviser to an approved application. The Graduate School is expected to forward/endorse applications with complete documentary requirements after the deadline of June 30 for the 1st Semester and October 30 for the 2nd Semester to IGRD-CPAf.

Only applications with complete documentary requirements  endorsed by the Graduate School within the set deadline shall  evaluated by the Community Development (CD) Program Admissions Committee whose members are the faculty  embers of the said program. The CD Program Admissions Committee shall evaluate the applications from July 5 to July 25 for the first semester and from November 5 to November 25 for the second semester to give reasonable  time for evaluation and feedback.

Applications with complete documentary requirements received but beyond the set deadline shall be considered in the next round of application evaluation.

The Admissions Policy of the Master/Master of Science in Development Management and Governance (M/MS DMG) Program aims to offer opportunities for graduate studies to working professionals with demonstrated interest and academic potential in development and governance practice and/or research. The admissions policy of the MS/PhD Extension Education Program Admission  committee aims to serve as guide in evaluating the merits of a graduate student applicant and assigning a temporary adviser to an approved application. Members of the said committee are Extension Education graduate faculty members of the Institute for Governance and Rural Development of the College of Public Affairs and Development.

Periods of evaluation by the Extension Education Admission Committee are November 1-15, for those applications received until October 30, and July 1-15, for those applications received until June 30.

The Admissions Policy of the Master in Public Affairs (MPAf) Program  admissions Committee aims to serve as guide in evaluating the merits of a graduate student applicant and assigning a registration/temporary adviser to an approved application. Members of the said committee are MPAf graduate faculty members including their fields of specialization in Education Management (EM), Strategic Planning and Public Policy (SPPP) as well as Agrarian and Rurban development Studies (ARDS) of the Institute for Governance and Rural Development of the College of Public Affairs and Development.
