Dr. Anastacio started his career at CPAf in 2016 as a university researcher under the Center for Strategic Planning and Policy Studies. Since then, he has served as a consultant, project leader, study leader, and project staff in several research projects on ecotourism, gender, climate information services, ecosystems valuation, and renewable energy.  He has also served as a resource speaker in some learning events and has been very active in producing publications. He has articles in the Journal of Ecosystem and Development, Asian Journal of Water Environment and Pollution, Journal of Advanced Research in Dynamical and Controlled Systems, Journal of Human Ecology, Journal of Public Affairs and Development, and Taiwan Water Conservancy. In 2018, Dr. Anastacio was given the Best Practice Award by the United Nations Institute for Training and Research.
