IGRD QA Committee presents the self-assessment ratings for its academic programs

Last April 12, 2021, the Institute for Governance and Rural Development Quality Assurance (IGRD QA) Committee presented the results of the Self-Assessment Rating (SAR) for the various CPAf programs via Zoom. The members of the committee who conducted these assessments were CPAf professors namely, Dr. Rhea L. Gumasing, Dr. Maria Ana T. Quimbo, Dr. John Erinorio M. Perez, and Prof. Nelson Jose Vincent B. Querijero. Several CPAf faculty, administrative staff, and REPS attended the presentation.
The IGRD QA Committee prepared the SARs for the following programs: Master in Development Management and Governance, PhD in Community Development, PhD in Extension Education, and Master in Public Affairs. This is part of the efforts of CPAf to offer courses that improve student learning and provide services that respond to the needs of its constituents.
The presentation of the committee served as a venue to provide an overall view of CPAf programs in relation to the ASEAN University Network Quality Assurance’s (AUN-QA) program level assessment criteria. It also became a platform for clarification on how the SARs were responded to by the programs and how these will impact program delivery.
During the presentation, the IGRD QA Committee also discussed the schedule of subsequent meetings, tasking, and required outputs. The Committee intends to submit the final SARs for the identified programs, including the PhD in Development Studies, to the UPLB Academic Assessment and Development Unit by September 2021.
